Former Cargill Chief Marketing Officer and Business Leader Named President of the Informed Engagement Network

On the heels of a strong start to 2022, IEN Founder and CEO Rick Kupchella sees a year focused on aggressive growth, innovation and new leadership beginning with his appointment of Paul Hillen to the post of President.

“Paul’s extraordinary credentials leading business units, innovation and marketing with some of the world’s most successful brands positions IEN particularly well in service to our clients,” Kupchella said.

“His experience as CMO of Cargill and status as a nationally recognized author and subject matter expert in business growth and marketing will help accelerate IEN’s continued growth.”

Hillen has the added benefit of coming to this role — as a former client of IEN.

In addition to his role as president, Hillen will lead the firm’s strategy practice, engaging with clients directly to understand their needs and grow IEN’s research, strategy and content marketing capabilities to deliver proven results.

“I look forward to working with Rick and the highly regarded IEN team,” said Hillen. “They have a proven track record of helping clients achieve their business goals by differentiating their brands and increasing influence among their audiences. Our market-centric approach will continue to get stronger as we expand our capabilities in ways that ensure the best client outcomes.”
